This is the 12th year Infoware Services has proudly been a sponsor for the Building Service Contractors Association of Australia (BSCAA) Queensland Golf Day. For those of you outside of the contract cleaning/security industry, BSCAA is “Australia’s peak industry representative body for the building services industry.”
With BSCAA’s continual work to support the cleaning and security industry, this is one of the ways Infoware Services helps in supporting our BSCAA clients.
Although the weather looked threatening before tee off the day played on without a hitch (apart from the poor golf!). The event was a 4-ball Ambrose, which for non-golfers means each player has a shot then you get to choose the best shot and all have the next shot from there. As you would expect this can result is some very low (and sometimes dubious!) scoring.
The Infoware Services team consisting of Shane, Leighton, Richard Shinkfield from Axis Surveys and Don Slingo from Adshade were outclassed (or out-cheated perhaps?) and as usual finished mid field so no prizes for us again.
This year Infoware Services senior software engineer Nadine Edwards also took part with Ellem’s Cleaning girls team. We hear she was a significant contributor to the 14 balls lost on the first hole!
The winner of the inaugural Infoware Services ‘best and fairest’ perpetual trophy this year was Professional Cleaning Services. Contratulations Professional Cleaning Services and we hope to see more of you next year.
