The Infoware Services launch Open Day was a huge success thanks to the support of the many clients and network partners who attended. A special thank-you goes to our interstate clients for making the extra effort to attend, as well as local clients, to hear about why we have changed our trading name, new technology offerings and where Infoware Services is heading.
Daryl spoke about the reasons for the name change.
“It is what we do these days. For over 12 years we have been hosting Infoware clients well before ‘the cloud’ has become a buzz word. We have been adding value to our Infoware family of products through streamlining or redefining business processes for some time so it is now appropriate we call ourselves Infoware Services.”
The day also allowed us to case study some of the new technology offerings recently introduced.
Integration with Optical Character Recogntion (OCR) technology can completely redefine previously cumbersome business processes involving paper and documents. Andrew Lovett from TRN Group helped demonstrate some of the major efficiencies they’ve gained using OCR with Infoware’s i4 Creditor Approvals. Hearing Andrew speak and show what they are achieving helped many other clients present see the real value and benefits of document imaging and OCR when integrated with Infoware. A real “light bulb” moment for some, thank-you Andrew. You can read more about the benefits TRN are enjoying by implementing OCR in their Case Study.
Also on the paperless front, we saw an example of how capturing ‘signatures on glass’ combined with user based web data capture forms has turned a tedious and cumbersome administration and paper shuffling process into a simple, user and customer friendly task. Commercial Property Cleaning perform site inspections using these web forms directly from their iPads with their customers signing off the completed forms. This technology greatly increases transparency with their customers as well as providing their customers instant KPI data on demand.
Those clients who attended also go the chance to meet Leighton Atkins our new(ish) Sales and Marketing Manager. “It was also a good occasion to actually meet people and put faces to names given the increasingly virtual world we live in.”
