One of Infoware Services' long standing wholesale clients, Liquid Specialty Beverages was recently awarded the NILWA National Wholesaler of the Year on 12th August 2015.
Darren Terlich (Director of Operations) said “Upon commencing the Liquid journey 5 years ago we stated our goal was to become the most respected on premise wholesaler in the Australian market place. Very few businesses are lucky enough to have all the elements required to achieve their goals: the talent, resources and perseverance. Liquid has proven that it has all three in abundance.
I’m extremely proud and happy to announce two great successes for our people and organisation.”
For the second year running Liquid Speciality Beverages took out the national sales award. Jacqui Delaney was the 2014 winner from the Coolum operation. This year the NILWA National Sales Excellence Award was taken out by Jann Armstrong from the Cairns operation.
Darren said “This year Jann Armstrong is a very deserving winner. Whilst it is an amazing effort for anyone to win this award it is an even bigger achievement in Jann’s case as she has the added responsibility of running the Cairns operation. Jann we are all very proud of you and hope you enjoy your award, an all expenses paid trip to New Orleans. “
NILWA National Wholesaler of the Year: Liquid has been recognized by its peers and awarded the National Independent Wholesaler of the Year. This is a fantastic achievement and all members of the Liquid family should be very proud as it takes the combined effort of everyone to receive this great honour.
“As we continue to evolve and our competitors start to recognize us as a serious threat it becomes even more important to ensure our company values grow stronger as we grow, it is essential that the ethos that earned us our current place in the market and our customers’ hearts is not diluted.”
Darren added, “A critical cog in our success is Infoware Services. Their portal provides mobile access for not just for customers, but for both our sales teams and suppliers to better service our customers with online orders, real-time stock availability, arrivals plus maintaining sales forecasts for a fluent sales and purchasing process. Currently just over 50% of customers enter their orders via the web portal – we are now promoting a lower price if ordered via the web portal to decrease the number of customer service orders as the business continues to grow”
2 months after commencing a customer web portal focus and promotion, over 70% of customer orders are now placed by the web.
