Infoware i4 DocLink + OCR* is an integrated document interface layer seldom found in other business management solutions. Incorporating Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to capture data, document images can then be retrieved and viewed from within Infoware wherever you are, at any time.

Want to find a copy of an invoice from last year? Just locate the invoice record in Infoware and the invoice image is displayed.
Some Infoware OCR efficiencies include:
- “Reading” creditors/sub-contractors invoices, extracting data such as creditor code (mapped to ABN), invoice number, amount, date, purchase order, and job, and creating unapproved creditor invoices linked to the invoice image. Invoices can then be approved via the web with i4 Approvals.
- Proof of Delivery (POD) scanning of consignment notes or delivery dockets. You can then email your customer invoices complete with links to drill down to POD images, letting your clients immediately answer their own POD queries.
- Timesheets – scan handwritten timesheets to extract payroll data and link transactions to their source timesheet image to provide immediate answers to any queries including audits.
- You can also scan, store and link any other type of document providing you with the “paperless office” environment. For example, scan various employee forms such as job applications, driver licences, passport details, etc. and link these to the individual employee records, including expiry dates.
